Breathing

Air is the very essence of life. Often we do it without even thinking, but without it, we would not have life.

Below is a strategy I use everyday as soon as I wake up. 

  • Empty the lungs of air
  • Breathe in quietly through the nose for 5 seconds
  • Hold the breath for a count of 5 seconds.
  • Exhale forcefully through the mouth, pursing the lips and making a “whoosh” sound, for 5 seconds.
  • Repeat the cycle up to 5 times.
